Help Us Celebrate The 20th Edition Of Our Games
Welcome to the 2012 Northwest La. District Senior Olympics
website where you will find all the information you need to join us
in the fun and games we have produced for 20 seasons.
Our commitment is to bring to our area an annual event promoting
fitness and wellness and a vibrant lifestyle for seniors,
encouraging competition amid fellowship and fun with their peers,
to foster healthy aging. Our activities are developed to be good
for the body and great for the spirit.
Some of our activities require training and a degree of
endurance so we strongly suggest that you consult your health care
provider before embarking on training or participation for
those.
As one of 10 regions of the LSOG, the state association, we act
as a qualifying event for state competition in golf, dance team,
bowling singles horseshoes, table tennis, discus, javelin, shot
put, and shuffleboard.
