Let’s Make Going into its 21st renewal, Northwest Louisiana District Senior Olympics’ aim is as it has been throughout the years, to be true to the mission of our parent organization, the LSOG: to promote physical fitness and an improved quality of life for people over 50 through sports and physical training. The Northwest District includes in its schedule games and activities that promote mental sharpness as well, so as to widen its appeal among seniors. All of our activities are enhanced by competition based on sportsmanship and fair play. Some of our activities are qualifiers for LSOG, our yearly state competition, which in turn is a qualifier for participation in the National Senior Games—the Senior Olympics —held every odd year. We invite all our previous competitors to return to our district games and newcomers to come join our fun! Entry information is found elsewhere in this website. |
