We’re Back! Welcome to the Northwest Louisiana District Senior Olympics website. Our aim here is to provide information about the District Olympics which produce a 30-activity celebration of health, fun, fellowship and fitness in April and May of each year for men and women 50 years of age and over. Our commitment is to bring to our area an annual event that promotes fitness and wellness. Our mission is to provide competition amid fellowship and fun to encourage healthy aging. Our activities are developed to be good for the body and great for the spirit. The Louisiana Senior Olympic Games (LSOG), a member of the National Senior Games, is the parent organization for the Northwest Louisiana District Senior Olympics. We are one of 10 regions of the state association and act as a qualifying event for state competition in golf, bowling singles, advanced horseshoes, table tennis, discus, javelin, shot put, dance team and advance shuffleboard.
