Chesapeake Energy has renewed its support of the Northwest Louisiana District Senior Olympics in the senior group’s 20th season.
“We appreciate Chesapeake Energy stepping forward to assist us in our attempt to provide a quality experience for the senior citizens in our area,” said Doyle Blasingame, coordinator of the district games. “The willingness of Chesapeake Energy and other leading corporate citizens of Bossier-Shreveport to lend their support has kept us alive for 20 seasons.”
The Chesapeake Energy logo will adorn the commemorative T-shirts that go to each entrant in the games just as it did a season ago when the district drew its record participation. A total of 575 individuals answered the district’s call to “COME JOIN OUR FUN!
The Northwest District comprises seven parishes in the northwest corner of Louisiana. The sports and games clendar opens March 24 and runs through May 19.Entry deadline is March 21 for Bean Bag Baseball and April 13 for other events.
