Landers Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep marks its eighth consecutive year of sponsorship with the Northwest Louisiana District Senior Olympics when the 21st renewal of the sports and games carnival for those 50 and over begins the weekend of April 5-6.
“This is a special sponsorship for us,” said NW La. District Coordinator Doyle Blasingame. “It is encouraging to us to have an organization that has such a presence in worthwhile community activities in our corner. We feel Landers recognizes our efforts to provide quality competition for seniors in the Bossier-Shreveport area.”
Landers is again the presenter of the district golf competition which will be held Friday, April 26, at Northwood Hills Golf Course. Entry is still open for the event.
The district schedule opens April 5 with Bean Bag Baseball competition for Senior Residence Communities teams at Bellaire Fitness Center. Open competition starts with Bean Bag Baseball Saturday, April 6, at Knights of Columbus Hall on East Texas Avenue. The first individual competition is Bocce Ball Saturday, April 20 at the KC Hall.
